Need a ROUTINE to get a Job?
Try this:
1. Wake up/ breakfast
2. 30-60 minutes exercise/shower.
3. Go to a quiet space at home, public library, or any place that has WiFi.
4. 90 minutes Resume and LinkedIn Profile improvement, or keyword tailoring for ATS applications.
5. 1 hour of LinkedIn activity for visibility (like, comment, share, like comments of others in a meaningful way).
6. 1 hour lunch break/ network in person.
7. 2 hours job search via LInkedIn Jobs, Indeed etc.
8. 1 hour of upskill via LinkedIn Learning, Coursera, Udemy etc.
9. 30 minute walk.
10. 1 hour interview prep, research, transferable skills identification, and C.A.R.L. technique.
11. 30 minutes of LinkedIn activity and online networking.
End of job seeker “work” day. Time for family, friends, pets and YOU.
Job seeking is your 9-6 job until you find one!
Human beings thrive on structure and routine, so if you want to find a job you need to have a strategy, discipline and determination.
Personally, I have always found in Life that…. Effort + Perseverance = SUCCESS! Anything to add, please?
