How do you prepare for 2020?
By implementing the following:
Start today. Don’t wait for a calendar to be your starting gun. That’s procrastination.
Write down your goals.
Execute daily. Consistent action over time will transform you at your core.
You are forged in the daily grind. Not in the dreams of ideals.
Find an accountability partner – Do not deviate. Step up.
Your goals and action plan should be progressive and all-encompassing, inclusive of the following:
– Challenge yourself physically through exercise, every single workout. Don’t passively put in your time. Work hard. Earn your progress.
– Clean up your diet. Remove the junk. Getting in shape is 80% diet. Be disciplined.
– Take yourself out of your comfort zone and into an environment of stimulus and growth; participate and engage.
– Nourish your mind. Education isn’t defined by an institution. It’s a lifelong, independent pursuit. Embrace it.
– Stay connected with yourself spiritually. Appreciate the earth. The world is noisy and fast-paced. It’s distracting. Detach. It’s important.
Investing in yourself is the most important undertaking you’ll ever pursue.
“You cannot dream yourself into a character; you must hammer and forge yourself one.” ―Henry David Thoreau
